Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy covers turnsout.ai and all of its pages, including the Chinese version. When you follow a link to FateLens or another site, that site’s privacy policy applies.

Data we collect

• Information you send us: when you email [email protected], your email address, any name you provide, and your message.
• Analytics and advertising data, with your consent: if you choose “Allow analytics & ads”, Google Analytics 4 and its advertising features collect data such as pages viewed, referral source, device and browser type, approximate region, and how you interact with ads. If you are signed in to a Google Account with ad personalization turned on, Google may link this data to your account.
• Connection data needed to run the site: the site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses and request logs to deliver pages and block malicious traffic.
• Your choice: your browser remembers whether you allowed analytics and ads. This record does not identify you.

How we use it

• To reply to your questions and partnership inquiries.
• With your consent, to understand how the site is used and improve it.
• With your consent, to measure our ads and show you personalized ads for TURNS OUT. products and services through Google.
• To keep the site secure and working.

Specific purposes under Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act: 040 marketing; 090 consumer and customer management and services; 135 information and communication services; 157 surveys, statistics, and research analysis. Data category: C001 personal identifiers.

Cookies, analytics, and personalized ads

The site itself uses no social tracking cookies. Only after you select “Allow analytics & ads” does it load Google Analytics and Google’s advertising features. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_, and Google’s advertising services may set ad cookies such as those starting with _gcl_ to measure ads and personalize them.

With your consent, Google may use your browsing on this and other sites to show you personalized ads, such as remarketing ads, on Google and its partner sites.

You can withdraw consent at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer. Choosing “Not now” stops analytics and ad tracking and removes the cookies this site set. Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only:

• With providers that help us run the site and our ads, such as Google (Analytics and advertising services), Cloudflare, and our email provider, and only as far as needed. Google also processes some of this data under its own privacy policy.
• When required by law or by a lawful request from a court or authority.

International processing

These providers may process data outside Taiwan. We only use providers with appropriate data protection measures.

Retention

• Email correspondence: kept for as long as needed to reply and follow up. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
• Analytics and advertising data: kept according to our Google Analytics retention setting, for at most 14 months; ad cookies expire according to Google’s settings.
• Connection logs: kept according to Cloudflare’s service settings.

Your rights

Under Article 3 of Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act, you may ask us to:

• Tell you what data we hold or let you review it
• Provide a copy
• Supplement or correct it
• Stop collecting, processing, or using it
• Delete it

Email [email protected]. After confirming your identity, we handle requests to access or copy your data within 15 days and other requests within 30 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why in writing and extend only once.

You can withdraw your consent to analytics and ads at any time; this does not affect processing that happened before you withdrew. Declining analytics and ads does not affect your use of the site.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and only team members who need the data can access it.

Changes

If we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, note it on the site. If the Chinese and English versions differ, the Chinese version prevails.
